The Syngonium Podophyllum Neon Pink (also known as Neon or Pink Arrowhead) has stunning pink foliage that emerges a deep creamy pink colour and later slowly mellows out to light green with pink veining as the plant matures.
This is an easy care plant, which will grow just fine in normal household conditions (but will thrive in a humid environment). You can give it a plant support to climb or let it hang from a pot.
How to root your Syngonium Neon Pink cutting
Syngonium Neon is a pretty straightforward plant to propagate and you can choose to root your cutting directly in soil, water or in your choice of propagation substrate such as sphagnum moss, fern fibre, leca etc.
Water propagation is a fairly easy way to root your Syngonium Neon cutting. Fill your glass or jar with filtered / rain water (or your choice of propagation medium). If you are using tap water, allow it to sit out in the open for a while to let the chlorine dissipate. Submerge the bottom node of your cutting in the water with the leaves up above. Make sure that no leaves are touching the water as this could lead to rot.
Then, place in a warm spot that receives plenty of bright, indirect light (no direct sun though) and change the water regularly until the roots are at least an inch long and your cutting is ready to be planted in a well-draining soil mix.
