A versatile 3% hydrogen peroxide solution specially formulated for horticultural use. Growth Technology OXY 3% is a powerful oxidiser that releases oxygen wherever it is applied, making it a handy addition to any indoor plant, propagation, hydroponic or semi-hydro setup.
Use it to support healthy roots, assist with root-rot treatment, control fungus gnat larvae, reduce algae and keep pots, trays and growing equipment cleaner.

How to use Growth Technology OXY 3%
Important: OXY 3% is a concentrated 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. Different applications require different dilution rates. Always measure accurately and follow the recommended application below.
🌱 For root health & regular use
Mix 50 mL OXY 3% with 1 litre of water.
Apply to the growing medium as a normal watering, every second watering.
This increases oxygen availability around the roots and supports healthy root development.
🦠 For root rot
Mix equal parts OXY 3% and water (1:1).
Thoroughly drench the growing medium. If symptoms persist, repeat after 7 days.
For severely affected plants, remove badly damaged or rotten roots and address the underlying cause — usually excessive moisture, poor drainage or insufficient aeration — rather than relying on treatment alone.
🪰 For fungus gnat larvae
Mix 150 mL OXY 3% with 1 litre of water.
Thoroughly drench the growing medium. Repeat after 7 days to target larvae that may have remained or hatched since the first treatment.
Tip: For a more complete fungus gnat strategy, combine treatment of the larvae in the soil with yellow sticky traps to catch the adult flies.
💧 For algae
Mix 15 mL OXY 3% with 1 litre of water.
Use in reservoirs, tanks and growing systems to help reduce algae and organic build-up.
🧼 For cleaning pots, trays & equipment
OXY 3% can also be used for cleaning growing equipment and breaking down organic build-up. Soak or wipe pots, trays and equipment, then rinse thoroughly with clean water before use.
Using OXY 3% with fertiliser
OXY 3% can be used alongside plant nutrients, but add it to the final diluted nutrient solution rather than mixing it directly with concentrated fertiliser.
Hydrogen peroxide can react with certain chelated micronutrients, including iron, when present at high concentrations.
