Kiwi Orchid Bark is a premium New Zealand Pinus Radiata bark. It is a multipurpose soil amendment and substrate that helps create ideal growing conditions for Orchids, Aroids, epiphytic type plants like Hoyas and others that prefer well-draining yet moisture and nutrient retentive potting mix.
We like to add Kiwi Orchid Bark #2 to our fine free-draining potting mix we use for most of our small sized indoor plants and seedlings. This bark type is used by Orchid growers for Disa and Masdevallias orchids as well as for orchids that have been deflasked.
